Dear Members,

As part of its charter, the Golf Committee continues to review the Club’s booking processes to ensure members have the fairest, simplest and most efficient system. 

In this regard it is intended to trial a system combining two live data entry terminals (Kiosk’s) for members to use in the Proshop, along with the existing online system which members will continue to be able to access from home.

The Proshop kiosks will allow members to access timesheets live, 7 days in advance, while the online access will remain locked until 1pm, 7 days in advance.

Last week, two kiosks were set up in the Proshop to allow members the opportunity to use this proposed new booking system. Steve and his team have been showing members how to book themselves and their playing partners in. Basically, the only difference between the current paper booking system and the electronic booking system is members will get to choose their own tee time(s).

Commencing Monday May 27th, we are going to trial this new booking system, and during this trial period members’ feedback is invited and encouraged.  

Members will be allowed to book themselves and 3 other playing partners in at one time.

To make a booking, members touch Tee Bookings on the screen.

Select Login and input your CHCC 4 digit member number.

Members will be directed to the various time sheets, the same as if you were booking in on line from home or work. Members then select the day that you want to make the booking. 

Members then select their preferred tee time. Press Book Me. Members can then add 3 more names by simply following the prompts. If the time sheet is full or members are unable to find a suitable time then you can select Waiting List and place your name and others on the waiting list.

The kiosks are currently set up in the Proshop to allow members to have a trial run prior to next week and the Proshop staff will be there to assist anyone during this trial period.
