The Castle Country Club Super Senior Pennant team had another comprehensive win over Cabramatta Golf Club played at Stonecutters Ridge yesterday.
Wins to Gerry Power 6/5, Ian Cochran 5/4,Trevor Amery 5/3, Russell Lambert 2up, Des Harvey 5/4, Tony Pagliaro 3/1 and Paul Scuglia 5/4, while Lyndsay Verdon took his match to the last hole before losing 1 down, saw a result of 7 games to 1 to Castle Hill.
What a great effort by Lyndsay to travel down from Port Macquarie once again to represent our club. This puts us at the top of the ladder and puts us in great shape to defend the title again this year.
