Castle Hill Women’s Grade Team – Round One Recap
Posted on: 15 February
The 2024 Golf NSW Division 4 Women’s Grade season is officially underway, and Castle Hill came out swinging in spectacular fashion!
Round One took place at Woolooware Golf Club on Friday, 14th February, where our team faced a tough challenge against Penrith Golf Club—the reigning Division 4 champions from 2023. But Castle Hill was more than up for the task, delivering a dominant performance and securing a resounding 4.5 to 0.5 victory.
A special shoutout to Farmaan Dhillon, who made her pennant debut in style, showing no mercy with an incredible 8 & 7 win. Talk about making an entrance! Sinae Kim Rah, Lina Wilkie, and Karen Romer all claimed strong wins, while Janine Sayer displayed grit and determination to halve her match.
The team’s camaraderie and support for one another were on full display, fueling confidence and setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
Next up: Mona Vale, where we’ll take on the women from Cumberland Golf Club. Best of luck to our players—let’s keep the momentum going!
