Dear Members,

We are proud to announce that Life Membership was awarded to Mrs. Stephanie Badger at the Annual General Meeting held last night, 25th November 2024.

Stephanie joined CHCC in May 1974, and has been a member for 50 years. In 2001, Stephanie became the first female member elected to the Board.

During Stephanie’s 7-year tenure as a Director, she was elected to Treasurer and was instrumental in driving the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the Corpus fund – an initiative which has placed Castle Hill Country Club in a strong financial position. Stephanie was also on the first committee formed to review the Constitution and draft CHCC’s first Strategic Plan.

Stephanie has always been a passionate and active member of the Junior Development Committee. Stephanie coordinated Cadet Summer Competitions and Girls Encourage Shield teams, and officiated in Junior Championships. Stephanie’s dedication to CHCC is truly noteworthy.

This nomination for Life Membership, originally proposed by Mrs. Pauline Power, and seconded by Ms. Lorna OBrien, was presented to the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors were in full support of the nomination and approved it to be put to the members as a Special resolution, which was unanimously approved.
