Junior Update

2025 has already been full of events for the CHCC Juniors with several fantastic results achieved.

Jordyn Deen participated in the 2025 Men’s & Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs Championships at the Southern Golf Club in Victoria in the first week of January.

Indy MacGregor had a win the 11-12 years Girls competition at the US Kids Tour event held at Twin Creeks this week with Beau and Jake Franklin also playing well in the boys fields.

This week Nick Heanes, Cam Walker and Farmaan Dhillon are participating with 112 of best local juniors as well as those from round the world in the JNJG ACT Week of Golf at Murrumbidgee Golf Club.

Devin Ding and Abby Fan played in this week’s JNJG Under 12 Tour Week of Golf. The tournament was played at Strathfield, Lakeside and Muirfield with 72 under 12 year olds teeing off to play for the title. Devin played consistently in some difficult weather to finish midfield. While Abby had brilliant rounds of 90, 84 & 87 to win the Championship by 2 strokes. Congratulations Abby!!!!

Back in Victoria again, Jordyn Deen and Andrew Kneeves wil be playing in the Adidas Australian Amateur Championships conducted by Golf Australia at the Commonwealth Golf Club and the Cranbourne Golf Club in Victoria from 14-17 January, 2025. This is the national amateur golf championship of Australia and is a World Amateur Golf Ranking event. Played over 72-hole stroke play, the adidas Australian Amateur is open to players of all ages. A cut will be made after 36-holes.

Next week we are very proud to say that Castle Hill Country Club will have the most Juniors representing any club in the JNJG 2025 Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf.

The Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf (held from 13-17 January) is one of the only five day, 90 hole tournaments, anywhere in the world.

The tournament will be played on five different courses in five days, right in the heart of Sydney. The tournament is limited to 180 players aged between 12 and 18 Years of Age.
